I made a new purse! It's basically the same design as the last one I made, but it has a flap on the front with a window in it to display my pins. I kind of want more pins, because they're cute, but at the same time I don't, because they're so heavy! I have a variety of pins from a variety of places and now I have a better place to display them. The Ita backpack I have is nice, but I prefer a messenger bag over a backpack.
I have several PHDs (projects half done) around my room at the moment. One is a quilt I have been working on for the past few months. It just needs to be quilted and bound and then it'll be done, but the idea of doing the whole thing is pretty daunting since I've never quilted a blanket before. It's probably going to sit in its box next to my desk for a few months before I get brave enough.
Next to the quilt is a cross stitch kit that has been opened but not started. I bought it because I thought my desk at work needs more llamas. It might be the next project that actually gets finished.
In a folder in the dollhouse is a fabric panel doll dress kit that has been hanging around since I was young enough for playing with dolls to be socially acceptable. The next step is to gather the skirt and attach it to the body of the dress. Gathering is another sewing skill I'm not too confident in.
Anyway, I think now it's time to read my library book (Beartown by Fredrik Backman) and then play some Animal Crossing. Have a day!
