My neck and right shoulder have been hurting for days now. I'm not old enough to feel as miserable as I do all the time! I'm not even sure what I did, if I lifted too much at work, slept on it wrong, or spent too much time sitting still, tapping buttons on my 3DS.
I filled out some forms online with an agency to try to find a new job. I don't think I like their system very much though, as it seems to only match you with jobs that you've basically already done before and I don't want to stay in retail. I want as far from it as I can get. I want a desk with a computer and maybe a little less overbearing supervision. I have a degree, darn it, and I'm tired of being treated like I'm dumber than a rock and half as useful.
I finished reading A Lantern in Her Hand this morning. I found it pretty depressing. The main character has a pretty rough life but she gets to see her children all educated and happy, which I guess makes up for all the garbage she went through? I don't know.
The past couple days one of my gerbils has been acting pretty sluggish. He didn't even seem very interested in eating his slice of bell pepper last night. Nat's an overweight old thing and I don't think he'll be around much longer. Ash isn't much better, but he at least runs on the wheel now and then.
I want to do something useful with the rest of my day, work on a sewing project or even just draw something on my computer, but just thinking about doing something like that makes my shoulder hurt. I think I'm gonna go finish the ice cream in the freezer...
Have a better day than me!
