Hello everyone! This is LifeAsItMayBe, and this is my first blog post! Lately I've been creating models on my computer to use in future animation projects. I used to do this a lot in high school when I was taking a class in computer animation, since I usually had time to goof off after finishing assignments. I like to model buildings and objects because they're easy, but most people completely overlook the background in a video so I realize I need to spend more time on models of animals, people, and other characters. Since I've picked up the hobby again I think I've been making better quality models, but I won't know for sure until I start doing more animation. It's easy to make something that looks good, it's harder to make something that looks good when you're making it walk, talk, and dance. I don't think I have any models that are "finished." For example, I have been working on a model of a guinea pig because I thought their chubby cuteness would be easy to portray. If you watch my videos with the guinea pig model in them, you might notice they don't have mouths. Or legs. Someday I think they will, but until then the legless version is still pretty cute. You can see some of the basic animation projects (and those new models) I've been working on over at my YouTube channel, linked at the top of each page of this site. You can also see a ton of guinea pig cuteness, including videos of my pigs as babies! | |
