I finished the book I was reading on Saturday. Since the library was already closed for the rest of the weekend I decided to spend some time playing Story of Seasons for the Nintendo 3DS. It is a game where your objective is to make a farm (and the nearby village) profitable, mainly by growing crops, raising animals, and building things.
I've played several iterations of the Harvest Moon franchise over the years, and this one's really good despite the confusion of the name change. I have been playing over 80 hours on my save file and am enjoying the new greenhouse I built. I'm curious about the next title in the series, but there are still a ton of objectives to meet in this game which keep me interested in continuing it instead.

If you like video games but want something that doesn't involve monster killing, I highly recommend trying Story of Seasons. You can live out your dreams of actually being paid fairly for your time and effort. It's a little ridiculous how excited you start to get when merchants have new items available or you finally find enough bricks to remodel your house, but that feeling is definitely addictive.
Of course I also needed to do some drawing today, and what better to portray than a guinea pig farmer? The turnips (or are they radishes?) are growing well, and there's a chicken nearby for company.

Have a day!
